Where does anxiety come from?

The proverb ‘knowledge is power’ applies here – learning about anxiety is fundamental to recovery. Education is an influential way to develop control over symptoms.

It’s a normal part of life to experience occasional anxiety.

But you may experience anxiety that is persistent, seemingly uncontrollable, and overwhelming. If it’s an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it can be disabling. When anxiety interferes with daily activities, you may have an anxiety disorder.

Today I Learned That Not Everyone Has An Internal Monologue And It Has Ruined My Day.

People just have different definitions of their thoughts.  Some people an internal monologue in their head and they could hear their own voices speaking in full sentences. Some have abstract, non-verbal thoughts and have to consciously verbalize them.
